REGUPOL Strengthens Transparency: EPDs Now Also Available for Laminated and Coated Products
Making sustainability measurable – with Environmental Product Declarations for additional product solutions
EPDs provide transparency regarding a product’s environmental impact throughout its entire life cycle – from raw material extraction and manufacturing to end-of-life treatment or recycling. They are based on internationally recognised standards and provide reliable data for sustainable construction and procurement decisions.
Responding to Growing Market Requirements
By extending its EPD portfolio to include laminated and coated products, REGUPOL is responding to increasing market requirements. Customised solutions are becoming increasingly important, particularly in architecture, interior design, sports and recreational surfaces, and industrial applications. At the same time, demand for reliable sustainability data is growing, for example in connection with building certification schemes or ESG strategies.
“For us, sustainability is not only about developing resource-efficient products, but also about transparently communicating their environmental impact,” explains Elke Sondermann-Becker, Marketing Director and Sustainability Manager at REGUPOL.
Complementing the Environmental Product Declarations Already Available
REGUPOL develops resource-efficient, durable, high-performance solutions made from recycled elastomeric materials for construction, acoustics, sports, leisure, commercial flooring and load securing. For many years, the company has pursued the goal of combining environmental responsibility with technical performance. Providing transparent environmental information is an important element of its company-wide sustainability strategy.
Further information about REGUPOL’s Environmental Product Declarations and sustainable product solutions is available on the company’s website. All published EPDs can be downloaded from the website of Institut Bauen und Umwelt e.V. (IBU).
