A solid foundation for success
Charlotte Candrix & REGUPOL
Year-round training on reliable ground
In summer, Charlotte Candrix lays the foundation for her winter performances. Sprints, strength training, starting technique and endurance – all of these are crucial for the starting power and high speed that determine the final ranking in bobsleigh.
Strength training on a stable foundation
REGUPOL everroll fitness floors provide important support during intensive training sessions: they are elastic, safe and at the same time stable enough to transfer force optimally. Shock absorption protects joints, while the robust surface withstands the most demanding loads.
‘REGUPOL offers a wide range of fitness flooring to meet a variety of requirements. From single-layer floor coverings in cardio areas to double-layer flooring or elastic panels that are suitable for more demanding applications – such as preparation for competitions of all kinds,’ says Adrian Kasparek, Sales Manager Sports Division, Sports Flooring Central Europe.
The stability and strength of these floors reflect values that Charlotte Candrix also embodies: willpower, perseverance and determination.
Endurance and sprint training on REGUPOL running tracks
In bobsleighing, endurance and explosiveness are crucial in addition to strength, especially during the intensive push phase. REGUPOL running tracks meet the high requirements of World Athletics and the applicable standards. Their elastic surface and sports-functional properties offer ideal conditions for efficient training. The surface enables fast, dynamic movements while providing pleasant cushioning that is easy on the joints.
‘Our REGUPOLrunning tracks provide athletes with a reliable training foundation. The prefabricated base mat ensures consistent, functional properties that are just as important for fast sprints as they are for intensive cardio training. It is precisely this consistency that makes our running track systems a strong partner in daily training,’ summarises Florian Mörchen, Sales Manager Sports Flooring.
Successes that demonstrate the quality of training
Charlotte Candrix is currently in competition mode: "I am very pleased that I have been able to improve so much at the start compared to last year. The basis for this is, of course, my good summer preparation. A training week for me consists of three strength sessions and two to three sprint sessions. I had the opportunity to train on REGUPOL floors several times during the summer. I am very grateful for the collaboration with REGUPOL. Whether strength or sprint training, I can say that I feel a positive difference in my training when I train on REGUPOL floors. During the current winter season, athletics is not neglected and I am constantly working on fine-tuning my skills."
